Our Origin
Our family was vacationing at a stunning country club in Utah. Beautiful grounds, impeccable service, every luxury imaginable. We were the only Black family there.
Sitting by that pool, we asked ourselves a question that changed everything. We stopped waiting for someone else to answer it.
We built The Emerald Club — named after our own family name, Green — because the spaces we deserved did not exist yet. They do now.
What We Are
Intimate Mastermind Dinners where the most accomplished Black leaders across industries gather exclusively among their peers. No panels. No agenda. Just the right room.
Annual retreats and experiences designed for restoration and real connection. Because if you don't live well, you can't lead well.
A giving circle where members collectively direct resources toward what matters. You are not a donor. You are a decision maker.
The Emerald Foundation
Members don't write checks to causes they didn't choose. Through The Emerald Foundation giving circle, members collectively decide where the impact goes.
Investing in the next generation of Black leaders — building confidence, access and vision in young people who will change the world.
Funding research, care and mental health access for diseases disproportionately impacting the Black community — directed by members who understand what is at stake.
Black creative legacy deserves to be protected, celebrated and passed down. We fund the artists, institutions and archives that carry our culture forward.
The Founding Family
We didn't build The Emerald Club from a business plan. We built it from lived experience — across industries, cities and decades of understanding what Black leaders need and rarely find.
